A Farmer or Rancher who is:

• Hispanic, or

• Female

That the farmer/rancher:

• Is Hispanic and farmed between (1/1/1981-12/31/1996) or (10/13/1998-10/13/2000), or

• Is a female and farmed between (1/1/1981-12/31/1996) or (10/19/2008-10/19/2000)

• Owned, leased, attempted to buy or lease, or had grazing rights on farm/ranch land

• Applied for a USDA loan or made a bona fide effort to apply that was discouraged by the USDA

• The loan was denied, provided at a lesser amount than requested, or provided with restrictions

• Suffered economic damage as a result of the denial

• Filed or attempted to file a discrimination complaint with the USDA

• up to $50,000

• A tax award to offset new taxes

• Debt relief on USDA loans

The deadline to file a claim has not yet been established
